Alright, Darth Reid is finally complete. Just need to fix up my blooper/mistake track and then I can post away. I'll probably write a reflection later on about doing the podfic, because of the seven voices (incl. narrator).
I'm halfway through the pre-read for DI, but I also realized I also need to go through the pronunciation guide again. I made mistakes. :S I also realized something that wouldn't work with the pronunciation guide.
So I'm going to try to get other people to do the dialogue--I said that before--yet I realized one part of my spell guide wouldn't work. I'm basically listing every spell that's spoken in the chapters/parts, even if they've been said before. So I put that down, then I put in the IPA translation. I also put down the spelled "translation" to pronunce it. Now here are the problems. I have no idea how to right down the spell "translation," which ties to the second problem because the spell variation only works if they speak with the dialect/accent. I'm from Canada, I speak english, and I have people tell me I have an accent though not strictly Canadian...right.
Here's my solution. I'll record myself saying the spells as best as I can, trying to copy the IPA sounds provided by my IPA resource, and give those to the people who will be doing the dialogue. Sounds good? I'll say yes to myself. (I only have two friends. :P)
Otherwise, I'm making my music choices and sound effect choices and creating the PDF file, that'll be the podfic script.
Oh, and I really love this icon. I think it's the skeleton hand. :D
