Fun stuff this week:
  • Wrangled goats on Tuesday.
  • Took my first radiograph today
  • Did laundry so Dani has things to sleep on and so my laundry basket no longer smells like goat
  • Moved downstairs
  • Stole sprinkles from the dining hall

My disclaimer is that I went to a random prompt generator for ideas, and the "three items" prompt just grabbed me right off. Without further ado, I present a drabble with A red rose, a thesaurus, and a ceramic figurine.

"Al, you didn't answer so I let myself...Al, what are you doing?"

America turned away from his computer, then pushed off and swung his chair around to face Canada. Canada was a bit confused by the red rose sitting in his lap, and thought that his brother being totally nude would have made more sense.

"I was talking to France yesterday, and I mentioned that I was getting really stressed, and he told me that when he needs a break this is what he does, so I thought I'd try it."

"...you seriously took stress relief advice from France?"

"Does he ever look stressed to you? I didn't think so." America spun himself back around and clicked save on his word document then grabbed the book sitting next to his elbow and spun himself back again.

He waved the book in Canada's direction, and Canada managed to briefly read the word 'Thesaurus' from the cover before it was thrown across the room. "That thing isn't helping me write at all. Do you know any other words for fellatio?"

Canada choked for a moment, and somehow this translated to saying "sure Al, you can turn back around and start working on what is most likely literary porn again," because his brother did just that.

Canada waited for a moment, counting backwards from ten in his mind and having a staring contest with the little ceramic alien sitting on top of America's monitor, before he felt ready to say anything.

"Al...did you know that studies have been done to prove the effectiveness of sex as a stress reliever?"

The clicking from the computer stopped, and Canada watched as America slowly turned around to look at him. Canada raised an eyebrow when America continued to stare without moving.

"Do I need to make the invitation any more clear?"

Turned out, he didn't. And France wasn't needed as a stress-relief consultant ever again.

You get a longish drabble XD
