I bought this book today, since we are going to read it in my English class. At first I thought: "Nooooo… Are we supposed to use even more money on school material…". But when I stood and waited for the buss home, I started to look through it. And on my way home I started to read in it: I seems like a very good book actually ^_^ Who would guess that our English teacher was so good in picking books.

Although I like to read I only have bad experience with books picked by teachers, they tend to be so boring and hard to read. No that’s not exactly right, our Norwegian teacher picked a good book for us last year, it was called Tatt av kvinnen by Erlend Loe. It was really good, and so is Naiv Super from the same author ^_^ If you have the possibility to read these two, do it!

But anyway now I writing about this book, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. The chapter division is not like anything I have seen in any book before, instead of the normal number system (1, 2, 3, 4) he uses the prime numbers (2, 3, 5, 7). I’m only at chapter 7 now, but I’m looking forward to read the rest of the book. Think I’m going to read some more now actually ^_^

From the back of the book:
"Fifteen-year-old Christopher has a photographic memory. He understands maths. He understands science. What he can’t understand are other human beings. When he finds his neighbour’s dog lying dead on the lawn, he decides to track down the killer and write a murder mystery about it. But what other mysteries will he end up uncovering?"

Quotation from chapter 5:
"I do not like people shouting at me. It makes me scared that they are going to hit me or touch me and I do not know what is going to happen."
