so, interesting day today. gabby, laurissa and i went to jako's(the best cafe ever!) and these two guys walk in and sit at the table next to us, and start talking in english! we found out that they were british and talked to them. turns out that they've been living in hungary for 3 years, and the younger one(my age!) just became a hungarian citizen. he and this older guy(his trainer) live outside the city on a farm, where they have horses! turns out he does show jumping, and is on track to go to the beijing olympics! so we talked for a while...he's traveling beginning next week till the beginning of may, but we exchanged numbers and they invited us to come over in the beginning of may to see the place, go swimming in the pool, maybe ride horses! it was way exciting! oh, and while we were talking, the prime minister of hungary came in, with a full entourage of bodyguards with ear pieces and briefcases. while he was hanging up his coat near our table, he knocked over my coat and apologized. ha, it was so random there! yeah, so that was my excitement of the last week pretty much.

ooh, and this evening i went to the premiere of hary janos, which is a hungarian folk opera by kodaly. 5 of the students from the institute were in the chorus and gabby gave me one of her comp tickets. it was good! i didn't really understand what they were saying, but luckally my hungarian teacher agi was sitting right in front of me and she told me what was going on. i had a great time!

well, i'm super tired! it's been a long week, i need to relax.
