recap time

ok, so it's only been a couple days since i've updated, but i really haven't said much. last friday night=way too much to drink=sick all day saturday(there's a first, and definitely last, time for everything i suppose) yeah, enough said. anyways, this week was way crazy. tuesday, wednesday and thursday i really felt like i was on a rollercoaster of emotions;one minute happy, the next sad and crying. yeah, one of those days, only 3 days in a row. a lot of it had to do with classes though. not really the classes themselves, but me being frustrated with myself for not being able to do things right away. i've really never had to deal with that in school before. it's a hard thing to deal with, but most of me is really glad that i am finally being pushed hard and having to push myself. sometimes, though, there just aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done. yeah.

anyways, we had my b-day party friday night-yummy cake, then a group of us went to the country pup for drinks and amazing food(the greatest chicken wings and fries ever!.) it was good times(in just the right amount of moderation). stayed up way late watching "dead like me" on dvd, then playing cards-went to bed at 4:30am. yeah. then rachel and i got up at 9 to go to the market and look for a whole turkey for thanksgiving dinner potluck sunday. nem turkeys, so we got two whole chickens instead. definitely went back to bed when i came back. later, a bus of us went to see the dress rehearsal of Dido and Aeneas(Purcell) in Budapest. but, we were given the wrong instructions on where to go to get in to the opera, and so we missed dido and aeneas and only got to see the second half, which was some other english opera, but sung in french. very strange and very disappointing-our solfege class has been singing some pieces from dido and aeneas and we really wanted to see it. :(

thanksgiving dinner potluck today was great! i think we had about 20 of us here and ate tons of food! went through 2 chickens, (2 kilos each), a ham, 3 pies, numerous side dishes, and probably 8-10 bottles of wine. good times. also watched the new harry potter movie-on kevin's laptop. it was good, but definitely didn't hold a candle to the book.

anyways, i need sleep, what with classes and homework to do tomorrow. hope everyone had a great thanksgiving! miss you all!!!

love and hugs,
Stewart/Megan
