Trip to San Diego
OK ... so I tried to type this up once and some how the entry got lost ... very frustrated here since the entry was almost finished and had lots of links and things in it. So I am not going to try and recreate it but here is the main jist of my trip.
Left on Friday the 28th (My B-Day) ... weather sucked in Chicago ... delayed an hour and a half at Midway for snow.
Got out to San Diego and met my totally handsome man
murphyskinpupran a few errands and went over to Chris Anderson and Sean's place where we were crashing for the weekend. Thanks for the hospitality guys!
Saturday the pup and I got up early and headed to Disneyland ... were there for several hours (12 to be exact) ... here is a link to a few pictures ... will post more later:

Lets just say I was like a 5 year old in a candy store ... we had an awesome time.
Sunday was quiet ... we went ove to Balbo Park and walked around ... weather was gorgeous. There are pictures in the gallery of the one posted above. Later that evening we went for the San Diego family tradition and had dinner at Buca De Bepo ... other than not getting the pope room as confirmed in the reservation the dinner was great ...
After dinner we went back to Chris and Sean's place for a family christmas ... I have to say a big thank you to the entire SD family for including me ... it was a privelage. I was made to feel so welcome! Thanks guys!
Monday was another quiet day ...
slave_pug was not able to make it on Sunday night, but she was able to get away for a couple of hours on Monday to join the SD family for more Christmas ... it was great to see her!
After that we went to the mall since a few of us had gotten I-Pods for Xmas and went to the Apple store and got accessories.
After that the pup and I went to the Hotel Del Cornado (see the sun set pictures in the link above. It was very beautiful. When we got back we hung out for the rest of the night playing Uno and other board games.
Then came Tuesday and it was time to leave ... I really didn't want to go .. I had such an awesome time.
Getting home was fairly uneventful but we were delayed about 45 mins because the was a hole in the runway at Midway in Chicago so we had to wait on the ground until they could fix it.
Overall glad to be home in my own bed but still missing my pup ... But MAL is only 2 weeks away.
