Life is Crazy!
My Aunt Joan passed away from Burketts Leukemia this week. She had been fighting it for 5 months. I have been helping my Grandma take care of her and it is very hard to believe she is gone. You know your secret favorite aunt or cousin that is always making you laugh or do crazy things? Well that was my Aunt Joan. I have never laughed at a funeral until Saturday. It is a really odd feeling to be laughing and crying your eyes out at the same time. My Aunt was at peace with leaving this world. She explained it to my 6 year old, Cheyenne, by telling Chey that she was going to go to heaven and hang out with my Grandpa who passed 4 years ago until the rest of us get there. Cheyenne is ok with it but I still feel like my heart is broke. I hope everyone out there is doing ok. I start exams in 1 week and wonder if I will make it through it.
