Family

It totally bogs my mind that family can be such assholes to each other. How perfect strangers and neighbors are nicer to each other than family members. That I can wave hi to my neighbor driving down the street and get a smile and wave back, but when I wave to a family member driving by, I get nothing. No wave, no smile. Just ignored like I didn't exist. Would I even get a wizz if I were on fire? And if by chance I decided to do something nice for this person, forget getting a "thank you". Nah...instead it would probably be something like, "What took you so long?"
