Chey's Dream House musings
So, total pipe dream.... because the chances of this place still being on the market when we move is like nil.. but..
This is my dream house.
5 Bed, 2.5 Bath 4,342 Sq Ft on 0.41 Acres for 200k. Yes, you see that right, 200k. It's in Granger Texas.
Anywho... I have been damned near obsessing over this house since seeing it a month or two ago. What I could do with a house like that, how I've always WANTED a house like that, etc.
See, I'm a sucker for the old plantation style houses. LOVE them. The only thing better would be a castle-style house :)
It has a swimming pool, too whch makes me go :( cause no one in our house can swim cept maybe my hubby, and I have a pool phobia thing going on from almost drwoning when I was younger. BUT the cubs can get taught how to swim (just not by me lol). And if it's gated off properly, no biggie, right?
The porch/balcony on the upper floor is nice, and I'd totally screen that in and set a nice set of chairs out there, etc. There are fireplaces in th ehouse, which is a big plus for us. Hubby and I miss fireplaces. 5 bedrooms means I have a nice guest room, AND a place to make intoa study/etc, or, if it's on the bottom level, a home office, for when I start school and get enough degrees under my belt to start seeing patients. I mean, how can you NOT be all calm seeing that house? It's so... tranquil :)
4k sq ft is *HUGE*, too... A condition of me moving is that I find *THE* house, not just settle for whatever we can afford like I did for this little shithole (god I hate this place, we were only supposed to be here a few years lol that was 11 years ago ffs). No, we'll stay in a 3 bdrm apt for a while till we find the right place. Or rent a small house or something, depends on what's cheaper.
