Avoiding Reality

Let's see the silence that usually surrounds the Giegel household will be lifted this next week beginning tonight. My brother is finally coming home and I don't know why, but I'm extremely excited about it. Maybe, just maybe, he'll let me drive his 'Stang. Tomorrow I'm leaving for Philly. Well not exactly Philly, but like an hour away. I'm off to my cousin's college graduation. Her dad was my godfather and we were very close until he passed away about 7 years ago, and we haven't seen his family since. So we're going to catch up, and I get to drive all the way out there, which should put me past the 50-hour mark. There is a chorus concert tonight that I'm not attending, but I may be attending the after party. So my whole weekend is devoted to the trip, but I'm spending the weekend with my mom, which I'm sure she'll like, considering it's mother's day on Sunday and what better way to spend it than with your daughter, the reason you are a mother. Everyone else enjoy your weekend and don't be stupid.
