(no subject)
so, i guess there hasn't been an increase in posts as promised. i keep meaning to blog, then i'd get distracted. one of these days (and i've been thinking about doing this for a while) i'm going to do a "day in the life of" entry where i take my camera and document my life as a research coordinator.
i turned 23 last week!
and start out the night with a little bit of drinking...you might not notice it, but i'm using a guam shotglass and if you look really closely.. you can see the ring liam got me on my finger...
and then we head across the street to partake of some improv comedy. shown here is the group.
afterwards it's back home for some birthday cake
all in all, i had a great time. though i feel quite old now at 23.
my latest, though by no means new, obsession is cal football. we have aout 5 days left until the biggest game of the season - a game that will make or break how the rest of the nation views us. it's versus tennessee and it's a home game. the funny thing is that i've recently become good friends with a girl who is a die hard tennessee fan. she also happens to live near me and we carpool sometimes. a lot of good natured teasing/needling has gone on between us and is escalating the closer the game comes.
here's to a good season golden bears...i'll be watching every moment of it
p.s. if you haven't watched 'stardust' yet, i would recommend it. the movie it really cute and for those of you who chose to live in a fairytale (like me), or if you like fantasy (also like me), or if you're just tired of all the crap slasher movies that have come out, you should definitely watch it.
