I went on a blind date with this guy last night, and I had a really good time.  I've never been on any sort of blind date before, and it was (understandably) awkward for the first couple minutes.  We met up around 8 pm and didn't part until 1:30 am.  I had a really good time, and I assume he did too.  But, all day today I've been waiting by my cell phone, and checking my email every ten seconds.  I feel like one of those sad fat girls from some chick flick, eating a pint of Ben and Jerry's while watching Lifetime surrounded by poorly looked after cats, waiting for some man to call.  Good lord.  Typing that made me feel more pathetic than I already did.  Bah, anyway, Halloween sucked.  I barely left the apartment because I had two research papers to do and I had a totally cute costume idea.  Oh well, I suppose there's always next year.

I plan on baking pies in the near future.  Either pumpkin or sweet potato, whichever, I like both.  I'm really looking forward to next quarter.

Now, if you'd excuse me, I have to check my email.

Update: I'm an idiot, oh, and I have a movie date!
