Probably the most productive day off I've had in a long time, even if I didn't really do all that much.
Ran a couple errands, did four loads of dishes, moved some bookcases, and somehow got my laptop working, more or less. It just needs to be left on a level surface. That's what I've determined thus far. And don't bump it.
Got a mysterious delivery notification in the mail today, a certified letter that I have to be present to get. So, I'll be driving up to the place near the Quarry before work tomorrow to find out what this is all about, particularly when it's from the MPD.
It's stupid hot out, and it's only going to get worse. I hope I don't suffocate at work this weekend, that would be a bad way to start my vacation time.
Oh yeah, I'm starting vacation time next week. A couple half-weeks off, as they especially need me on weekends (since no one else there knows what to do, let alone handle what I do in the mornings).
Another thing, UCKF show next week at Club Underground. Come watch us insult Fate's mom as we risk doing another show with no practice!
