Japan is crazy. Crazy hot, crazy crowded, crazy expensive, crazy everything. Dude! We just came back from Japan. We didn't know if you were still there or what. There seem to be more than one Sakai there, so I don't know where you were, either! BUT, we were on Kyushu in the Oita/Beppu area and we saw typhoon damage and people were still talking about it. We went to an Aquarium too - it was one of the best things we did, see the pix in Rich's journal. We were visiting this awesome English language university there - you get classes in Japanese but you can go there if you are English and there are students there from all over the world and we definitely thought of you, if you want to go back you should go to their web page - if you look at the video you'll see a bunch of people we met & a couple I've known for a long time (like Alex Miller who talks about being a translater -- he's from Victoria BC and I met him back when he was in grade 11 originally and Rich and I went to karaoke with him (see our pix)
