it's only a matter of time, Lisa. I know you will end up reading it, and you will fall in love with Alice because she's your kind of cute, and Jasper because he's your kind of cute. And you will hate Bella and be annoyed by her, and you will hate Edward because he's too perfect. But you will LOVE the others.
I wouldn't say addicted in my case. I haven't bothered to read the final three yet, as that would mean spending money on them and I just can't do that. I did read Midnight Sun, and rather wish she'd finish it because he's so amusingly whiny about being a creepy stalker.
But...yeah. Everyone gets sucked in to some degree eventually.
Plus, you like books like Thumsucker and Perks of Being a Wallflower
you can write college papers on books most people don't even understand
you are allowed this indulgence, I give you permission
(just know you're not going to take me down with you)

You're going to love it - especially Midnight Sun; it has all the delicious angst you can ask for.

Everyone I know who reads these things gets addicted
(Honestly though, I haven't read a book through to completion in over a year at least. And writing? Don't even get me started)

Trust me...you will give in.

I will avoid it like the plague!!
It'll be like how I've never seen an Indiana Jones movie, or any Monty Python, or the Last Unicorn.
Shoot, I didn't even see The Princess Bride until a year ago.
And years from now when everyone hides their Twilight love as much as they hide ever liking the Spice Girls, I can say "I've never read them".
