Jaguar - where I is
Well the 1st swing is near enough over, it has gone very quickly.
Mainly getting ready for the new drilling program and preparing the core yard for movement to its new location behind the fitters workshop. The last week or so I have been cataloging chip trays, not the good potato kind, bloody plastic ones that have degraded over time and when you open them you have to be really careful.
The camp itself is really well laid out, at night a few kangaroos come in and mow the lawn for us which is good, they are still wary of humans which is good, obviously we are not allowed to feed them, yet they manage to get a feed of fruit every now and then.
We had fire extinguisher and fire blanket training today (24/08), kind of ironic considering my last job, still good for a laugh though, the fella that is head of the ERT here wants me to join them team, which I will do next swing up.
Other news, this trip home will be doing a 4WD course and trip after that is forklift so all in all pretty happy with that.
One of my colleagues is learning to be a tattooist and is trying to convince me to let her put one on me, dunno about that one, would mean I couldn't do the community thing and donate blood for a year though.
Will be back in Perth Wednesday night, think we land at around 1800, will have to check manifest to confirm.
