Scranton

Now, when one thinks of the University of Scranton, they may initially think to themselves, "what the fuck? who goes to college in scranton?"
i myself thought that same exact thought when my parents told me that we were going to go visit. i was pretty convinced, although i was sure the people that did attend the school liked it's company, the University of Scranton PA, not the place for me.

But i won't lie, after the tour and information session and all that good stuff. i really did like it there. maybe not my first pick, but it IS a place i could see myself for the next 4 yrs. of my life. i mean, there was a big difference between that and BC. (besides that i could get into scranton and not bc)
the main difference being the people.
now im not saying that all people that go to bc are stuck up bitches and snobby little rich kids.
my sister goes there, she isnt like that, and none of her friends are like that, and im sure many other people that go there arent like that either.
but when walking around that campus, you get that persona, that everyone thinks they're better than everybody else.
and that bothers me.
that bothers me a lot.
i hate places like those
a lot.

but when we were walking around scranton, it didnt seem like that, i mean ,i saw at least 3 kids walking down the street in their slippers, and if that doesnt say kelly chew, i dont know what does.
and it was just kinda awesome--like--we went in this cafe at the school, and there was this "preppy" looking kid talking to a kid with a half shaven head. for some reason, it made realize that i need a place with different people, where everyone is only themselves--ya know?

but i wont lie--i knew i loved it when we were in the cafetiria, and these guys who obviously knew the large sum of kids, parents, and the one college student was a tour group, came skipping (and when i say skipping--i mean skipping) and began screaming in a sing-song voice saying "i loooooooooveeee scranton!"

i don't know...it's a lot to think about.

ithaca was good too-but i liked scranton better.

and im tired of this-so i wont be describing ithaca.
deal.
