update
I know I haven't written in a while. I've been insanely busy and I ought to be sleeping right now, but I don't sleep often. Where to begin? Things with the roomies are going well, one of them is driving me crazy. It's not anything that she does in particular it's just that, I think we are very alike and that is a hard adjustment and in the ways we are different she is like the type of girls i really dislike. We haven't fought or anything, I keep it to myself and vent to outside parties and the general consences agrees that I am just not used to her, because we didn't hang out too much last year, the other girls are struggling in ways with this person as well. Pat and Danny moved out, so sad, because we don't see them every day anymore and I miss them. School is kicking my ass, I didn't get off to as good of a start as I wanted which i attribute to living with 2 alcoholic boys for the first month of school, so we partied a bit too much. Im on track now, i hope. It's starting to get cold here which is a little sad. I am definately not moving back to Seattle this summer, so I am in the process of figuring out what I will be doing. As of now, I am thinking I am going to study abroad somewhere. I would rather be gone for a whole semester but it's just not going to happen because I am pre-med and I just can't miss a semester. I am also joining clubs and hopefully taking up a leadership role in one of them. I am hoping to be an officer in the Pre-Med Club which is actually a national society, so being a leader would require me to travel a bit. I am also joining the Republican Club which also requires some travel to conventions and the like, even if I am not an officer. I think we are going to Santa Barbara in a few weeks and then Malibu so I'm excited.
Hopefully I will be home for Thanksgiving, but who knows what my family will end up doing. My Grandma is still hanging on when the doctors thought she would have died over a month ago so i just don't know where I will be.
I have a new job, selling over-priced shoes to bored, rich women in Walnut Creek. It's nice because I can study there between customers. What else is new? I am going to the Jason Mraz concert in November!! I miss everyone at home....
