Crocheting Anonymous
SO -when I was in Medford from Thursday to just 2 hours ago I learned to crochet for that 'Read a Stupid How To Book For School, so You Can Actually Do Something Productive This Summer Instead Of Sitting Around Attempting To Get a Tan So You Don't Look So Pasty For the Next Week, But End Up with A Sunburn' Reading project.
Well - let me tell you what - I am now addicted to crocheting.
I mean it too! I haven't stopped crocheting for basically Two Days. I even dreamed about crocheting the longest scarf in America. It's sooo weird. I am currently finishing up my 6 foot scarf and working on a hat. The only thing that I have to complain about crocheting is after awhile your hands start to cramp and it hurts like a mother.
Oh yes - on Friday I went to my 5th annual Coconut Brat's meeting. Now The Coconut Brat's club is a club I created with my sister, Pat, and Colleen...and Joan and Michelle, when i was like...7 years old - so a really long time ago. It was super fun - Pat is like the coolest old lady I know and if she read what I was writing she would spaz because she is about as mature as a 6 year old.
Anyway - it was fun and I feel like a major dork talking about a secret society I co-created when I was still in the American girl/barbie stage.
I need to go - I am going through crocheting withdrawral.
By the way - if you want me to make you somehting, just give me a ring and I'll make it.
