So FINALLY I have time to write here... I havent really blogged anywhere lately, I've been so busy!
here's what's happened to me lately.
-I found out my best friend Melanie has cancer.
-Jer and I got married on June 15th
-I went to Arizona for a week from the 23rd-2nd. (of course the first 4 days was DRIVING)
-Got royally irritated with my mother-in-law
-Had my first prenatal appointment today :)
The doctor (midwife) said that everything's 100% normal so far, she did a papsmear and also tested for STD's (anything that might cause the baby problems if delivered vaginally) HIV and Hepititus B. So, she swabed my cervix, made me pee in a cup, and drew my blood. And yes, oh yes, she used the shoe horn on me.... talk about uncomfortable! *sigh* either way i dont have to do the Papsmear (shoehorn & swabing deal) probably until after the baby's born. (Thank GOD!!!) And DO NOT let someone talk you into a papsmear if you're a virgin... no wonder it hurt so friggin bad.... she said it probably burst that thin membrane... so basically the doctor told me I lost my virginity to a SHOEHORN! I refuse to belive it but whatever.
I heard my baby's heart beat, she used the dopplar thing on my stomach, and I dont think I've ever heard such a beautiful sound in my entire life.... Ultrasounds soon I hope!
I'm about 15/16 weeks along... duhduhduh I'm in my 2nd trimester!! :)
The due date looks like December 28th. And I'm asking that everyone wait a week or so until after the baby's born to pay a visit. No one at the hospital... nothing. Jer and I have decided that it'll be just us at the hospital and after I'm out we'll have family over, and then after that whoever wants to come see me.... feel free. I just request that you wait, because it's already a big thing to deal with I cant deal with tons of people at my door or in my house when I'm recovering from giving birth. Thank you.
Things are going well for me, I go to the doctor again on the 19th to go over all those tests she did,... Jer's going with me cuz he wants to hear the baby's heart beat :) I'm excited, it feels surreal, but since I heard that hearbeat today I'm floating on cloud nine... my dreams are really coming true!!
Praise God, He's been there through the good and the bad.
