First, WWE:
* The slow burn on CM Punk's heel turn is being handled very well. He's yet to really do anything wrong, but the fans are still turning against him. Much better than a straight out-of-nowhere heel turn. If they could swing it, he'd make a good ally for Jericho since Jericho turned heel in a similar way.
* The MVP/Triple H match on Monday was godawful. It was pure squash and MVP deserves better -- especially since he would be a far more interesting choice to take on Randy Orton at Night of Champions than the apparent Orton/Cena/Trips triple threat match. The WWE's insistence on pushing the same half-dozen guys over on Raw is a major drag.
* I didn't mind the Trump story, but it lasting only a week was a waste. As well, Vince showing up on Smackdown was nice... but wouldn't that have made more sense for the show after he sold Raw, like he was going to turn his attention to that show now that he didn't have Raw?
* How did the commentators not play up that John Morrison and Punk have a long history of fighting, so Morrison beating Punk is the result of his experience and knowledge of Punk's abilities.
* With Edge injured, I wonder what they'll do with the tag belts now. I wouldn't mind seeing Jericho insist on defending the belts by himself to play up his egotism and insistence that he's the best wrestler in the WWE.
* I would really like to see the guest host of each Raw take an interest in every match on Raw, not just the main events -- it would elevate the midcard matches a bit.
* First Santino, now Dolph Ziggler... does Maria have shit taste in men or what?
* The Miz/Cena match on Monday was pretty good -- it's the match they SHOULD have had at the Bash.
* The trade really decimated ECW, but it's nice to see the WWE promoting some young guys to the other brands. A chance to see teh Heart Dynasty on a regular basis has me thrilled.
* Jeff Hardy is a dick. Seriously, he acts exactly like the worst heel, but people love him. He interferes with matches, attacks people after the bell, sucker punches people... and, his fake eye thing on Friday night was another heel tactic. If there's anything interesting about his character it's how much of an asshole he is to people -- and yet the fans cheer him. Weird.
Now, TNA:
* Impact really is bad most of the time.
* That said, the heel turn of Samoa Joe was well done... though, I wish they'd have him still not like the other members of the Main Event Mafia.
* Kevin Nash has really impressed me on the mic. I would have liked to see him leave the Main Event Mafia with Sting, but, as Adam reminded me, that would have been a bit too much like nWo Wolfpack.
* I hate the TNA ring.
