One more day
So Yesterday we found out that Brad will be here much earlier than either of us anticipated. The manager at the store here that he will be working at walked out the other day. They are flying him up to start working there tomorrow. He will be here sometime tomorrow. He will only be going back for 2 days until I go down there to get the car and pick him up. So its pretty much over. The wait is through. We have both been very patient and dealt with the distance fairly well. Tomorrow is the day that changes everything. We will be around eachother every day almost. We do have conflicting schedules sometimes with work so that we both have our own time to do our own thing still, which is very important to me.
So now, with this huge change approaching so quickly, it makes me look back at the past few months, and helps me see just how far I have come in months... Blah blah blah... dont feel like spelling that all out again haha...
Brad will be here tomorrow, just in time to spend th last couple of weeks of the year with him. This makes me really happy because the Christmas season sucks without the one you love. I would have been able to spend christmas eve and christmas day with him, but not the days approaching christmas. So this is perfect. We wont see eachother too much because of our work scheduled, but like I said, that will be good for us I think. I am a person that needs my personal time as well as the time with people. Gotta have that balance.
I will not be working at Fridays for much longer, so I will have my weekends back again to get things done that I enjoy doing. I can give my pup attention that both he and I miss. I can take him to the dog park and we can go for a ride up to estes park.
Speaking of Estes park, before this sudden early plane ride for Brad, we made our plans for the holidays. I will be flying to Vegas to pick up the car from Jason's bosses house the 21st and driving it to phoenix. I will spend xmas and its eve with him and his grandmother, as well as his aunt and uncle. We will leave to come back hom on the 26th. the 27th, I have to work, so it will give Brad a chance to get his Drivers license and such done for CO and give him time to unpack. Then on Thursday, I am taking the day off. We are going to go shopping for a new bed. Just cruise around denver and show him some things and shop for furniture. We get to start acquiring things for the house that are desperately needed here. Friday, we will go to Estes park for the day, and return to check into our hotel for the weekend. We are staying at the Hyatt Regency downtown on Friday and Saturday night. We will leave the car at home and just use the city tranportation to get around, or our wonderful two feet that it seems we forget we have sometimes. We will check out of the hotel on New Years Eve, to return home and ge the car, and get together with some friends to have a wonderful night out on the town partying it up into the new year. This should be fun.
So Cheers to an advancement in a relationship and starting things over.
I feel it will be a very good deicision on both of our parts.
