More Advice Needed
So I love my truck! I hate the gas mileage it gets though. I've been getting 18 mpg lately. Which completely sucks. Driving home is at least 2000 miles. Which means, it would take approximately 111 gallons to get there. At $3.00 per gallon, it would cost $333 in gas alone. Add the cost of the tonneau cover which is between $250 and $300, plus half the hotel costs which equals $150 at least. So for short it would cost me approximately $1000 to go home (adding in all the odds and ends). So my question to you is should I trade in my car for a more economic and practical car? That is what I was looking at when I first started shopping for my car. I'm thinking of the Chevy Cobalt which would save me from purchasing the tonneau cover and with gas mileage being almost twice as much as the truck, would save me $150 in fuel. But would I love it as much? Would it be me? This is my dilemma. What are your thoughts?
