Yeah, Alex has been through quite a lot (more than most people) and Olivia and Serena both know this, they are just torn between showing her compassion and contemplating whether or not to keep their distance because they are afraid of being hurt.

Thank you! I'm glad that you can feel the emotions when you read, even though I know that sometimes the emotions aren't so pleasant and I don't want anyone to be miserable, lol, so I try to balance the sad emotions with some happy ones from time to time.
