With the start of the school year, we started heading back to the gym last week. Thursday's rainout interrupted that, and Celisa had an early meeting on Friday that made the timing perilous. Since, on the advice of my PT I'm not running two days in a row, it means I got one run in last week, and then did it again when I got to the gym today.
The good news is that running with my modified stride, in Merrell "barefoot" shoes, I'm not having any issues with my ankle. (And yes, if you want to do minimalist running but find the Vibram Five Fingers to be too odd, the Merrells are a decent option.)
But after a run, then walking in to Olin from parking, then walking to CCC for a meeting, then standing at my desk all afternoon, then walking back to Maple.... my legs are toast. I don't think I'll have any trouble sleeping tonight.
