I think whatever you decide will be a great decision. The best advice I can give you is to tell you what I like and don't like about Columbus State.

At first I decided to go to Columbus State because I had heard a lot of people had success (and saved a ton of money!) by going there for their first two years and then transferring. It was getting late to apply to other colleges, and there weren't any around this area that I really wanted to go to.

I started at CSCC and liked it. I could take a lot of classes right by my house at the Westerville campus, and if I had to go to main campus, it was easy to find my way and the class sizes were still very small.

Over my two years every once in awhile I feel like maybe I would have liked living in a dorm or going to a bigger 4-year school, but the other 99.9% part of me is completely happy I chose to go to CSCC. The classes are just the right size, you can go to multiple campuses, it is easy to transfer once you are done, and you will more likely be accepted into harder colleges as a transfer student rather than someone fresh out of high school.

Almost all of my teachers have been wonderful, and a lot of them are teachers from OSU. The on-line classes are really easy to use, and the counselors have all been extremely helpful.

I feel that I have received the same (if not better) education of some other schools because the curriculum is basically the same, BUT, the class sizes are smaller so it is easier to learn. Also, classes for me average around $1,000 a quarter which is much, much cheaper than most other schools.

Now that I am almost done with CSCC, I feel sad that I can't stay since it's not a 4-year school. I would recommend going to CSCC and transferring to anyone who is not sure what they want to do, either with what college to go to, or what major to pick.

You should go talk to a counselor at Columbus State (if you go, ask for Pat Pitcher and see if she's there, I love her) and try to get registered for classes and what not because I don't think it's too late.

Everyone else that I have talked to that went to CSCC for their first two years loves it and has not regretted it once.

Whatever you do will turn out great for you, I'm sure.
