[It seems, that during the course of the current insanity happening in town, Varric's quiet little home shared with the Champion of Kirkwall has become just a bit more crowded thanks to the events of this post. Not that it's so bad, Varric has had the mage to poke fun at, however Isabela is still masterful with that sharp tongue of hers. Not that he minds too terribly much, it IS quite fun, but Varric supposes it's time to discuss the recent events with the general populace.]

[Phone | Unfiltered]

[It sounds as if Varric is purposely speaking loud enough for people in the house to hear, at first.]

So, you know how it is when you suddenly find yourself with house guests...and they just linger forever? I guess that sort of thing just happens sometimes.

[The volume of his voice seems to return to normal, seemingly satisfied with what result that was meant to have.]

So, I hear there are some sort of assassination games going on in town? How is that working out for everyone? Can't say killing is my favorite sort of work, but I guess it has to happen sometimes. I think the phones have provided me with a good idea of what's going on, and now I suddenly see what others were talking about concerning the "games" this place likes to play.

I guess my real question is, what happens if you just don't do it? I didn't get one of these letters...but figuring out how we're punished can be good to know.

[Action | 1761 Beaver Street]

[If the aforementioned house guests are still around, you can bet Varric's simply being a good host. Being a good host meaning there is always plenty of alcohol set out, and he's enjoying it himself as he lounges on a comfortable chair. It's already clear Varric doesn't intend to get involved in what's going on out there, but if someone has Blondie's number then he most certainly is going to have the Mage's back. House-mates and house-guests, feel free to poke at Varric as you see fit.]

varric's not giving up his bed with hawk, house guests, so the gang is all here?, just like old times except not, just get drunk and forget about it
