Alsea Falls
I went on a family trip to a beautiful hiking area about half an hour's drive or more from our house. Amusingly enough, what we ended up doing there wasn't so much hiking as it was playing around in the waterfalls and trying not to slip on rocks. I finally caved and took my shoes off, then proceeded to climb monkey-like all over the gorgeously smooth, moss-ridden, slippery-as-hell rocks, and it was extremely lovely. Some areas had bits of sand, so it was a prime place for wading.
