John Johanna is sitting in her rooms upstairs, her nose, as usual, in a book. She's still feeling rather awkward about this whole thing -- and has discovered a new distaste for corsets -- but would certainly be willing to talk to anyone.

Good. *enters, closing the door behind him* I told you the corset was a bad idea.

Well, yes, but I wasn't about to take Brianna's advice. --Or should I say Brian, now.

I'd be more likely to take the advice of a woman who doesn't consider squashing her body into unnatural shapes with whalebone necessary over one from your century, personally. *blinks* Her, too? Weird.

Did you see what she was wearing? *looks scandalised, but only mildly*

Yes. It looked good on her. What's the problem?

*flustered* Her legs were showing!

--And -- a lady does not show her legs in public -- certainly not in mixed company -- unless she is a woman of a certain nature.

Well, yes, but -- it is ...rather hard to get used to.

Probably easier than corsetry.
