*John is, for lack of a better thing to do, practising his sword drill in a fairly large empty room. He's currently leaning against a wall, eyeing the sword opposite him rather balefully in an attempt to regain his breath*

Happening to pass by, Rina also happens to hear the sounds within the room and, thoughtlessly curious as ever, takes a look inside. "...hello?"

John straightens up and tries to get his hair into some sort of order, bowing slightly. "Good day, madam."

She laughs quickly at that. "I'm no madam," she assures him, and offers a hand and a smile. "I'm Rina."

[chessandlatin]

He takes her hand and kisses it lightly, smiling. "Pleased to meet you, then, Miss Rina. I am John Grey."

[goldenlapwing]

A faint pinkness comes into her cheeks, and she laughs again. "Oh- well- pleased to meet you, too, Mr Grey...!"

John smiles and bows again, eyeing the sword. "I apologise that you have come upon me in disarray. I have not had the opportunity to practise with this in quite some time, you see."
