2014 garden, week 17 1/2
Just a quickie, no pics. I mentioned that I had found asparagus roots on clearance at Home Depot. Well, they are finally planted. I dug the holes and placed them next to the year old plants. Only time will tell if they were too dried out to grow.
Oh, and I am happy to say that I have my kids addicted to Bewitched and I dream of Jeanie. They discovered them on Antenna TV. So much better than some of the cartoons they watch (seriously, a lot better).
Virginia was sick on Monday night, she threw up while trying to get to the bathroom. Of course she had just eaten the RED frosting off of her cake (just dessert, not her meal). She went to bed early but felt fine in the morning. Fast forward to Tuesday evening. Natalie, who had just had a 4 hour playdate with a friend, declares that her tummy hurts. She goes to bed and doesn't eat at all. This morning, she woke up first, seemed fine, but couldn't eat the plain toast I gave her. I took her temp and she had a bit of a fever. I had to skip going to exercise because of sick kid. She then woke up after 9, ate the toast, drank some water, and seems fine. I don't know what this is but it seems to move fast.
