The fall sale is done. I had 190 items to sell and about 75% of them sold. I have my remaining stuff in a closet and am now waiting for the other 2 ladies from my sale zone to get their shit together and contact me about their left over stuff. I would like to regain my office space. The kids were happy with the clothes I picked up and I have hidden the toys so we can use some of them for Christmas gifts. I found some really nice stuff there including floor puzzles and board games. I also found a Jessie doll from Toy Story 2. I think that will go to Natalie and the snap doll will go to Virginia. We will spread the joy around. And while my head spins with the items I could buy with the money, I will probably use it to pay off a credit card. It is the only one we really use and since it is for the copay's of all the prescriptions the kids and I receive it can add up. Each kid has 3 allergy drugs and I have 2 of my own. Ouch.
Tomorrow is going to include me cleaning my desk. The last few weeks have left it a disaster area. With the computer rebuild, the birthdays, the sale, and everything in between, it has been getting ugly. And I have to write 16 mini essays about Virginia to try to prove to the school district that she is "gifted" and should be in an accelerated class. It is only 30 minutes a week and it would start after Christmas but I don't want her to get bored. After I turn in the paperwork, she will be tested to determine if she would qualify. I know she is a bit bored at school but she still needs focus when it comes to simple things like penmanship. She is a lefty and seems to be struggling with how to write things correctly. She tends to write mirrored or just backwards. However she is a typical girl and is adding all sorts of swirly dots to her name. Since she has 3 "i's" she gets to do it quite a bit.
I think I shall head for bed early for once (and actually do it this time). The cat box can wait one more night.
