tell me the stars are made of tin
Hello world:
Life in the non-european short hair world is pretty good. Nothing earthshattering going on. Lately I've been:
- Finishing harry potter =) how the mighty have fallen, etc. I'll go back to Flaubert now.
- Working. Good times all around.
- Watching lots and lots of movies. Current recs: Me and You and Everyone We Know, Happy Endings, Girl with a Pearl Earring (yes i'm late.) and Willy Wonka. the Island is also good for a craptastic good time.
- Going to a drive in on a bus in fantastic, if incredibly random, company. Watched Batman and Willy Wonka. Came home at 4 am. AGAIN. for the 4th night in a row, this is no good. This summer is for resting.
- Drinking tea with all and sundry.
- Contemplating language and culture and where one lives or doesn't live or should live and for how long. (travel may have something to do with these thoughts.)
- Partying with a good, if also somewhat random, conglomerate of kids from high school.
- Missing boston.
- Not writing...I think I'm blocked and it's no good.
- Cleaning. I feel that I've been doing a lot of cleaning.
- Wearing eyeliner
- Listening to Jane's Addiction and thinking back.
