I decided I could post some of the lots I've uploaded to GoS here, so I can quickly see what stuff I've already done. But I'm thinking I need to start a new spreadsheet. My sims spreadsheet has gotten too big. And once it gets too big, I don't update it as much and my brain cells aren't happy trying to remember all that data.
And maybe for those that haven't been to GoS lately and might want to check out a new lot. Although, I really don't know why anyone would skip GoS in their daily internet jaunts. But maybe my thinking reflects my addiction to lurking at GoS because there is really so much to check out that I never get bored.
Anyhow. Here are the lots. The photobucket URLs can be dissected to view more images.
Gather and Gab - A community lot I created for Sim State University. It has various activities sims can do.
Download Gather and Gab Barns and No Bulls - A park-like community lot with an outdoor exercise area, musical instruments, shopping for clothes and groceries. It also has the usual fishing, chess, and espresso bar. I've made quite a few changes to the lot since making it available for GoS, so I may post version two to this journal some time this week.
Download Barns and No Bulls 22 Whimsy Way - A residential lot. The theme of the house fits a sim that is a bit different than the others. A loner that might have lost a few marbles. I'm thinking about making the sim living in this house a business owner selling guns.I think there is space to place a lot next to this house. I'll probably use a similar design and colors for the business lot.
Download 22 Whimsy Way 10 Dead End Road - A residential lot. Located at the edge of the neighborhood, this modern house is a good fit for a sim that likes to spend time outdoors as it has a lovely garden around the pond.
Download 10 Dead End Road I will update with more info on the lots later. I haven't had any sleep all night, so I'm not very alert. But I wanted to post before I forget. I still have some other community lots I haven't posted to GoS. Might be faster to post here. I really just wanted to participate in at least one of the monthly themes. And I've done that. I did almost lose my nerves. I couldn't even click on the reply button for a couple days at first.
I am glad I finally jumped in. I know they aren't the best lots, but at least I've made the effort to give a bit after I've gotten so much from GoS. I thought I might offer some bodyshop recolors to one of the themes, but I haven't been doing that long enough to have something worth sharing. But learning sure has made my game different. Now I am always "seeing" clothes in different colors than what I have in the game. With more practice, maybe I can give some recolors.
Some day, I will also have to try making some makeup. I have a couple ideas I haven't been able to find.
Anyhow, I need to stop babbling so I can check how this entry looks. My html is a bit rusty.
