OMG....dudes, so who here has heard of the new Alice movie being made? I'd heard rumors but honestly there have always been various rumors...rumors of MM doing a version with his beau(shoot me, if it ever happens). BUT IT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING, OH GAWD.

I'm not sure what I think. On the one hand...OMGEXCITED, on the other hand...ohgawdohgawdohgawd what if they ruin it totally? I guess thats always the case when a story you love is going to be made into a movie though. Its Burton and while I love him, I'm really worried about how dark and gothic it might end up being. I enjoyed the characters and look of American McGee's Alice as much as the next person....but its not the type of Alice that I hold dear and want to see done. At the end of the day it was a fanciful story written to entertain a young girl...and while it certainly has its creepy parts I really don't want to see it lose all its color and wonder. So yeah, worried. :/ Hold me when it comes to theaters?
(The cast is possibly amazing though...but again, so dark! Also older Alice....is a worry? How much will they be changing the story? I hope Burton is afraid, since Alice is pretty well loved.)
**Is anyone interested in my pimping of Torchwood fiction? I'm usually not one to rec or bookmark...but I've got a small stash. Didn't know who all was on the wagon at the moment though.
