Dream #210

I got a phone call which said that Lola had died, but she was called Jena. Like Jena from work. Jena from work turned into Lola my cat, and she died. The fam piled into the van to drive to Richie, Illinois to find the cat. Snow was all over the ground. We saw a lot of old buildings. The family got out of the van, which was now my escort. I was sitting in the back seat when the escort rolled backwards into the frozen river. The car flipped upside down and I caught a glimpse of my mother before it sank into the water. I sat camly in the back seat and decided not to try to escape.

(I woke up quite disturbed that I had not tried to save myself, and felt so calm about it in the dream.)

Dream #211

We were working on a sunday afternoon in Barnes and Noble, which was supposed to be in Kankakee, but was really a store that only exsists in my dream mind. The lights were off, and I could see some dangerous looking clouds in the sky. Angie, the manager at DeKalb decided to close the store early due to the weather. So, we reshelved some books, (I was a bookseller here) and I thought about my grandparents.
