It's called 'Raining Cats & Dogs'. It's a story we came up with focusing on our hero-self (in Gretchen's case) and villain-self (in my case), Golden Retriever and Cheshire Cat. It's only just started but we've got quite a story planned.
Here's the long summary: Golden Retriever, aka Jenny Johnson, and Cheshire Cat, aka Mackenzie MacRath, have been best friends since high school. They graduated a year apart and now work at the same company. They used to be lab assistants until a terrible accident destroyed the lab they worked in and had some strange effects on everyone caught in the blast. CC and GR were the only ones to escape without horrific mutations, but they still have to hide the changes that did happen. GR finds herself with super-strength, super-senses, a pair of floppy canine ears, and a curled tail. CC finds herself with super-senses, super-agility, a pair of feline ears, and a long furry tail. With their new abilities and features, GR tries, but fails, to avoid becoming a hero while CC wholeheartedly accepts the role of a villain so long as GR is her nemesis. They make a deal and thus the Golden Retriever and her archnemesis Cheshire Cat are born, to both protect the city and, well, "terrorize" it. Of course this is complicated by the fact that GR isn't exactly the most selfless person, and CC has a set of morals and rules that keep her from harming innocent people. Then, when a mysterious new villain named White Rabbit shows up on the scene, claiming to be seeking revenge on the two friends, they must band together and figure out who he is and why he's after them.
