Dream Journal 6-19-2010: Superpowers

Jun 19, 2010 07:45

This one was a pretty cool dream, but now that I'm awake it's degrading kind of fast so I'll write down everything I can remember.

As far as I remember it began in some sort of mansion. I had to do something, but I don't remember what. All I remember is that I was running around and talking to people and, I think, trying to get out of the mansion.

Later on I was at this stadium sort of thing, or maybe an amphitheater. I had superpowers of some sort. I could shapeshift my body and I could form...I think it was either water or sand...into shapes and make it move psychically or something. So at some point I lost control of my powers and created this huge sand (I think) monster in the center of the stadium/amphitheater. I began attacked people, grabbing them with these tentacles and dragging them around, tossing them in the air and stuff.

This person, who my dream said was my brother (despite irl me being an only child), came in and started acting superhero and saving everyone while I struggled to get my powers back under control. Finally I succeeded and the monster dissolved. No one knew it had been me that did it, and I felt so horrible that I went around finding every injured person I could and getting them to ambulances and EMTs and such that were arriving. My brother was also a doctor and was checking some people a few rows lower than I was. Up a few rows was this lady who tried to get up but winced and fell back to her seat. I rushed up to her and saw that she had tentacle marks around her knee, which was heavily bruised and purple and starting to swell. I called my brother over and he came rushing up as well.

He said she probably had a broken knee, and that's when I woke up.
