Dream Journal 2-2-2010: Escape or die
Creepy dream, gotta say.
So I was going around the Avenue with some friends, and we run into this other girl we know. She brings us to this restaurant where we're the only ones and there's this big plasma screen TV. A message plays that we're captured by this guy and we have an hour and a half to eat and rest because the moment that time ends we have a certain amount of time to find a gate out of this area (which is apparently walled off) and escape or we'll be captured and killed.
So after the hour and a half, we turn off the lights and leave. Somehow my friends and I get separated from the other girl, and we find ourselves in this large park/backyard area. We find the gate, but it's being guarded by a huge dog. We try to distract it and make a run for the gate, but it latches onto my arm and I end up dragging it with me to the gate. I think one friend got out of the gate, but me and the other (Gretchen) were stuck when time ran out and got whisked away to this area.
This area was standard video game fare, three floating platforms on a sea of lava. Whoever stayed out of the lava would survive and be let free. Gretchen and I managed to stay above the lava, but the other girl didn't. Then we woke up in a hospital, and it turns out that we were in some sort of dream-world coma-world thing, and one of the other people we'd met (who I don't actually remember meeting) in that world was a detective trying to catch the guy responsible and who was going in and out of the dream/coma world to try to find him.
He was kind of cute.
Then I woke up because it was massively warm and I was thirsty.
