Wow, so, crazy people are always attracted by me, why?
So, Katie Keyser, Patrick and I went to see "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny" at the Orange City movie theater. I paid $3.75 for a small coke which was actually huge. Ludicrous... Anyway, there were only about 10 people in the theater watching "The Pick of Destiny" including us 3. About 5 rows behind us there was a couple that was being really loud and obnoxious. Really, mostly the woman. Like, yelling out random shit and "Hey everybody, who is that guy?" referring to the actor. The second time she yelled that out [really yelled] I turned around and said "Oh my gosh, it's Tim Robbins. Now, please, shut the fuck up." (Even said please. How nice is that?) And she was all "If I had money right now you'd have it." and the guy was like "You're right, totally deserved that, we'll be quiet." And then she got all trailer trashy and started getting pissed off. She was complaining about what I said for at least 30 minutes. The guy kept threatening her that he was gonna leave and telling her to calm down. She got up, walked to our row, pointed at me and was like "You better apologize for saying that..." blah blah whatever, being really hostile. And I was like "Alright, I'm sorry."* And she was like "All right cool". She went back, and her and her boyfriend are still arguing. He periodically apologizes to me throughout the film for her behavior... She throws a cup at me but misses badly. The guy apologizes and threatens her with leaving again. They argue blah blah blah... He gets up at one point and sits next to us and starts saying that he's sorry for the way she's acting. "She's a hardass and always has been. I'm really sorry for the way she's acting. When we leave just don't say anything, I'll get her to the car. Just really don't say anything." I'm like "Ok......" They talk and argue some more. The guy asks me "Excuse me, I'm saying this in a completely non-assholish way, but is that Seth Green?" And I'm like, "No I don't think so." and she's all "I told you." to him. Near the end of the movie she comes up to me again and is all like "Look bitch next time you wanna start talkin trash about someone you better watch it..." and I just try to calm her down by saying "I'm sorry. I really am."* and she shook my hand and she's like "Alright". When the movie ends (yes this was going on the entire time) Katie, Patrick and I wait a bit through the credits until everybody's gone. Katie wants to go the the bathroom, but we can hear the crystal meth-ed up trailer trash arguing in the lobby... so we leave through a side door exit instead. Probably a good move, because when we were getting in the car, they were still yelling at each other, now outside the movie theater. I know she would have tried something if we passed her. She was just not letting it go.
I'm not gonna lie, I have ALWAYS wanted to call someone out on their bullshit in a movie theater and she was really being the ultimate loud bitch and it needed to be done. I'm just happy I didn't have to throw down. XP
* Guess what! I wasn't really sorry! Oh snap!
