Yesterday was interesting at work. I utilized my 4 or 5 years of Spanish study for the first time EVAR! That was kind of a rush. Also, I got bitten on the thumb by a Rottweiler. =D I'm not sans 1 thumb so don't fret. He didn't break the skin, but alas, twas still a bitch. I think the part that really pissed me off about getting bit was that everyone in line who saw it happen was all "They shouldn't make you hold big dogs, you should only hold small dogs." ...Growl. Thank you, I'm aware that I'm a girl. Ok, first off, I've been injured by tiny dogs waaaaay more often than by big dogs because they're little and squirmy and have really sharp little nails. Secondly, the reason I got bit was because the owner of the dog was a total tool. I was telling him to either hold the leash while I had the dog in a headlock or stand behind him so he couldn't back up. Nope, the owner's just walking away saying "Shorten the leash up." Thanks jackass. So I've got the dog in a headlock and I'm holding the leash in my left hand. The dog backs up and tips me over my left arm is fully extended and he bites my thumb (quickly, not viciously). The owner's all "He's never done that before!" Yeah, well there's always a first, and besides, we're outside with like 100 other dogs. Just maybe he's a little spooked. But ...yeah. ...done.
