Below is a list of the first lines from song lyrics, collected from a random play off my iTunes list. To earn points for this meme, be the first and correct person to post as many of these as you can:
1. the artist,
2. the song title,
3. the next line of the lyrics
4. and the film it's from (only where applicable).
Don’t look up answers online beforehand - guess off the top of your head. Yes, partial credit points will be awarded.
I’ve avoided covers, as given my collection, there could be multiple answers and then we’d have to argue over which version we like the best and who recorded it first. I’ve also skipped songs which name the title in the first line (“The dream police, they live inside in my head!”) as that’s just too easy. Finally, I’ve skipped local bands which only a couple of people on my list could know.
I was very entertained by which songs popped up. Let’s see how many of you unfriend me after this. :P
