In a flash he had arrived. In her small apartment they now stood facing one another. She took in a breath and sighed it out completely before running over to him and wrapping her arms around him. It had been a mistake, leaving him the way she did and she knew it at that moment. They kissed, the room filling with magic as the souls came together. All in the world was at peace now that they had reunited.
Settled in and such, she took him by the hand and dragged him out of the apartment, just for a little while, she exclaimed. So they walked down the stairs to her car and got in, heading off into the warm Los Angeles night. The first place she took him was her favorite whole food store, down in Santa Monica. She was hardly ready for her guests and so she had to stock up on stuff for their extended stay. Prancing around the store with a basket on her arm she gathered all manner or things they could need-meat for the other kitty, fruits and veggies, california made wine- while he tagged along behind her amazed by her whimiscal ways. After collecting supplies for the holiday weekend, she took out to the pier. To stand on the edge of old wooden structure and stare off into the abyss, then edge of time and space. Standing there, watching him watching her, sharing with him the most wonderful things she could, she felt content.
They arrived back at her apartment some time later. Once inside, she grabbed his hand and walked him to he bed setting him down in it. Going around the room she lit all the candles and then walked over to him, kissing him sweetly.
