CNY Eve with Reb,Jun, Mochi for Pancakes, Family Dinner at HansRoom
Reb & Jun came over on Chinese New Year Eve for breakfast...
we're having pancakes...
mochi greets junkit with much love
run under junkit, lies down and turns upside so mochi can get his belly rub from junkit haha..
such a baby with guys !!!
we bagan our branch at 10am...
simple ingredients used for pancake..
the usual flour, butter, egg and milk...
just google up any pancake recipe and follow =D
getting the right amount of flour for the needed amount of pancakes
fresh milk
mix mix mix...
mochi never wants to be left out haha...
often sits at our feet....
where he blocks us from opening the drawer and fridge...
occationally sniffing the air
or just being plain busy body haha....
he must be wondering if he is going to eat that later...
he's eyeing on the ham
reb does a fantastic job at flipping pan cakes..
junkit.. not so good haha....
had some milk in my cookie monster cup =D
reb loves the oscar one... anyone hearing to universal studio anytime soon ?
we decided to experiment some pancakes with peanut butter...
french toast ?
haha looks gross
taste ok but taste better when u just slap a whole lot of fresh peanut butter on it
cause it burns on the pan when u flip the pancake
almost done ! we made 10 pieces....
mochi wants to be in the photo too hehe...
there he goes sniffing again..
but that's ok cause he just sniffs...
can you spot the ham with a smily face on the table ? hahaha
reb enjoyes hers with blueberry and yogurt
i have never seen anyone eat pancakes with yogurt and blueberry...
but i must say.. it's yummy!

mochi gets some left over pancakes and he even gets yogurt from junkit..
all the more more more reason to love junkit....
we watched the life of pi.... interesting movie...
mochi didnt want us to take the remote haha..
he kept himself entertained when we watched tv....
yes squeeky drumstick...
he says he prefers KFC
falling asleep haha....
at night... CNY dinner with the family at the han room
first time having soft shell crab yee sang...
i think the crab was a bit soft....
still yummy...
lobster tier for our next meal...
only the top tier was quite nice.. the bottom 2... not so...
the shark fin was a bit salty.... i like salty though...
dont think others would really enjoy it...
and then abalone dish..
all for about RM800++
(for CNY eve, you have to pay for appetizer even if you dont take them...)
i feel so totally not worth it =( !!! for 4 people....
seriously... we should eat else where ! and probably not dishes like this...
