AGM Meeting at Empire Hotel
yay another event out of office..
we were having our AGM meeting for the company in empire hotel..
i love this hotel for so many reasons...
and there's one thing i discovered about AGM.. you wont believe until you see it...
old uncles and aunties come here to PACK FOOD HOME !
literally they stack the food on their plate like they're some sort of expert..
and they have 3 plates in their hands..
they take the food to their table and within one minute, there're back for more..
but wait.. is not just 1 or 2 aunties and uncles..
is 30 to 50 of them ! i'm serious..
they carry giant paper/cloth bags..
and when their bags were fully filled... they run to their car and drop it off and come back with new giant bags..
so that was what happen the last AGM
we suspect they take the whole lot of pastries / cakes / kuihs / puffs to sell at the market
(they even sapu all the tissue / sugar / pen / paper / milk ! yes those for coffee and tea)
this time we ordered soup for the breakfast.. at least we made it a bit harder for them to take away
first thing the lady came to me was "where's the free parking?"
(they expect free ones and if not, they make a big hoo haa about other companies giving free parking,
this is what they did last year)
after the free parking, she asked me where was the food
and after she saw the soup, she went 'where's the cake and pastries ?"
let me tell you... they actually have flask to take away the soup
which i only found out after the whole meeting
i was wondering how one can drink 10 bowl of soups (refill 10 times)
and at the end i saw one of them, refilling coffee with the flask..
errrr... coffee ??? coffee also want to fill ? hmmmm
the 2nd break was served..
and we cant order everything liquid... it's just crazy hahaha....
so we had burgers, samosa, and noodles...
these burgers didnt last more than 1 minute...
told you they have special skills..
balancing 5 of these in a tiny plate.. with 3 plates in one hand
i rushed to grab some as well...
for my colleagues
but anita here looks like one of those glutton people now haha...
all the food were finished so very quickly
cant say they're hungry vultures coz they didnt put it all in their stomachs...
after the meeting was over, we went to rakuzen for lunch

delicious lunch with the bosses !
and we cant believe they served this to us.. in rakuzen...
mushroom rice... but doesnt look like mushroom 0_0
dad's delicious wagyu beef which was only like 5 pieces =S
that def cannot fill a man's stomach
fancy sliced cucumbers to make the dish look huge
salmon head... dont know how to enjoy the head but the neck area had fleshes that i enjoyed
plates of sashimi..
i always go for salmon but the other fishes are delicious too
dessert... strawberries with ice cream inside & cream.. yum!
they gave us complimentary waffles with ice cream inside and red bean
i dont take red bean, so more for the rest
our lunch ended at about 130 and we were back at the office by 2..
the rest of the day went by quickly...
