Mochi's Shower, Sakae Sushi with Couz, Doggy Walk, TheRoyaleChulan Hotel
sunday morning... i had 2 hours to kill.. to shower mochi or to shower the car
since mochi is cute and he hasnt showered for 3 weeks
(well my car is probably 2 months now)
but i picked mochi haha...
wanted to wake SJ to help me shower mochi but
i thought i'd let him sleep...
one thing good about showernig mochi is that he would not lick the soap off his body
or anywhere... the bad thing is that...
he would not stop turning round and round and round
after soaping him with 3 different liquids..
(one normal puppy shampoo, one for the ringworm and one for the dandruff..)
i left him to soak for 10 minutes...
he was very co operative when i asked him to take a seat while i took his photo
hehehe such a cutie.... listening to me without grumble..
while he's in the mist of his least fav activity on a early sunday morrning...
for lunch.. we met up with the cousins for a 50% off the bill sakae sushi..
well that's what we had last year and also what the casher at subang parade sakae sushi told us..
until we sat down and the manager of pyramid sakae explained that we'd only get 50% more points.
oh well.... in a way the 50% more points is kinda like a 50% discount but paid upfront
the pyramid branch uses the ipad for their menu... kinda impressive..
at first i wasnt sure if i was ordering the right thing cause they dont mentioned the item u confirmed..
but so far it was all good and quite interesting
ordered the katsu don.. one of my fav dishes there
BUT i have to say that i NOTICE your portions have gone much lesser
and the amount of rice is so little.. i am 100% positive a normal person would not be full from this dish alone..
because i'm a small eater and that's very little ...
the rice is maybe 1cm thick.. the bowl is not large....

well actually... we ordered a lot of food ! hehe

another thing to complain..
they should have a bigger table..
there was 11 of us and we couldnt squeeze into one...
so poor sam and dektos was stuck at the other table
not far from us but the path way really separated us =(
on the brighter side.. when we were done eating...
sam and dektos joined us at our table while we squeezed with each other like smashed sardines
i never miss out on my sashimi

then bianca and laura sang an irritating song they picked up *from the night market the day before*
Lewis had to hold bianca's mouth shut
the funny thing was that bianca licked his hand
but lewis was smart enough to wipe his hand all over her face
she immediately told him she's sorry repeatedly hahaha..
such a funny scene hahaha...
bianca stole lewis's noodles just to do this
then she stole his unfinished meal and gobbled down the mushroom heads
she said they look like medusa's hair... quite true...
SJ ordered the choc parfeit and i thought it was an okay dessert
chocolate fudge, oreos, ice-cream, cornflakes and few bits of strawberry
had a great time with the cousins....
we went our separate ways...
laura met her friend and she decided to join him while SJ and i wondered around
before we went back, we decided to stop by starbucks (where laura is)
main purpose ? to steal her drink... muahhahaha
so happened we stumbled upon bianca and lewis in there too
to grab a sneak shot of laura and a guy who's after her..
i took a pic of bianca and lewis.. hahaha
yes bianca and lewis was supporting this too
bought orchado back home and it was sooooooooooooo good
so far.. 3 out of 4 times... was execellent
the last round wasnt so good so i was just feeling hopeful that this round would be good
i think it's better than chatime.. the roasted milk tea is thicker and the pearls are smaller, and bouncier
i found out an hour later after i got home...
there was a buy 1 free 1 promotion today but i had been conned !!!!!!!!!
we had half an hour to kill cause of mom's slow speed so we walked the dogs
zara is not being co operative with the camera.. but at least her side profile is good
mochi however i can get him to look at the camera with a few magic words..

mom booked a table because she wanted badly to try out this famous chef from finland named *Chef Sara La Fountain*
apparently famous on AFC channel but i dont know who she is
so we arrived and found out that we actually need groupon coupons for her cooking...
soooooooooo not surprise with the planning....
mom made a big fuss and insist to speak to the manager
they allowed us to take her course meal after that..
the waiter that attended to us was down to earth.. a very patient man and very friendly..
good with his opinions too...
he said that *Chef Sara La Fountain's* set meals were too small the portion to enjoy..
(very true what he said)
well mom insisted and she had her 5 course meal
the rest of us ordered from the ala carte hotel bunga emas restaurant menu
they served 2 types of bread.. i like mine..
the other one was plain and ordinary..
they didnt serve one person with 2 bread type..
more like random of which 1 bread you'd get
this is mom's dish..
really tiny as you can see that egg there is a quail egg
not quite sure what it is but the pan cake thing was kinda hard

not too sure what this is but i was not interested to try beetroots mixed with meat

my wagyu beef i found it just okay
it's not a bad dish but its not something i enjoy
siew jin's fish dish which i thought i'd at least love the milky gravy....

dad's creme brule came with chocolate mousse dish
i like the choc mousse... bitter to my liking
the creme brule... i've tasted many better ones
i ordered a chocolate fondant which was alright...
i dont know what those red sandy things are..
not sure if they're edible..
pardon the unfocused chocolate fondant... my camera has a bit of focusing problem now =(
this dish was alright..
but to pay for RM30 for this...
i def recommend anyone else to go beardpapa for rm 6 chocolate fondant which is better
mom's baked alaska...
on the inside.. there's ice cream..
so that's something quite nice
but i must admit that it's way tooooo sweet..
well i had expected such an expensive restaurant to at least provide us with good quality food..
the wagyu steak 'uncle' (Dad's friend) ordered was alot over cooked...
the food doesnt taste superb..
well, this is just my opinion on the food..
the service however was good..
the car park... is ONE SCARY PLACE
we couldnt find the exit for about 20 minutes
the road lead us down to a scary level and i swear if i was driving there all by my self..
i'd panic because i'd think that someone had lead me to a coming hell
basicly the B1 exit was blocked with a cone, the only other way was a leading way downstairs..
we went down till B3 and couldnt find the way out so we went back to B1..
pushed the cone away and placed our tickets in...
ticket was spat back out, we pressed the button for assistance but they werent helpful
all they said was 'go down to go out'
down.. down where ??? B2 ? B3 ?
we went down to B2 but it was blocked so it lead us down to B3..
which quite frankly i was alittle afraid even though there were 5 of us in the car
found the exit but it was closed with large metal gate..
i'm thinking oh oh... so we went up to B2 and found the exit !!!
placed our chip inside the machine.. it spat it out
what the.......... so we clicked for help
the people came and they tried to put the chip in but it came out again
we were frustrated and we said 'we have paid !' quite irritatedly...
luckily he let us out.. else i'd be real mad...
what an experience for such an expensive hotel..
never will i go back there !!
