Empire Cocktail
my company received a cocktail invitation from Empire hotel
and i was invited along to go.... weee !!! any free food excites me
even better... a friend who's always as excited about food

we sat outdoor because it was the only available spot left
lucky enough to be getting a couch and few chairs rather than none
and we were early !
the cocktail starts at 6pm. Anita and i arrived at 6pm sharp.
early birds got nice tomyam soup..
there's shrimp and cherry tomato inside
they had some nice items..
simple looking and yet delicious..
my favourite was the fish and chips.. the fish was very good
fresh and with very tasty batter
everytime they replanished, we wiped out the fish...
haha maybe for 2 rounds because we loved it so much and they had only replenish a little amount each time
the meatball was quite yummy too
i dont normally fancy oysters but i dont know why i enjoyed this
found out later that they served sushi inside...
lucky never too late
not salmon but it wasnt too bad as well
the manager came to chat with us, quite a big groups,
maybe the biggest there with 11 of us squeezing into 1 sofa and 3 small chairs
think the main event of this was to introduce their new CEO
(ok i forgot who they were introducing)
and also to inform us of their new hotel opening soon at Bukit Bintang, KL
they had live band and open bar... i wasnt too interested with the open bar
later they gave out free cupcakes
anita's champaign and my mango / pineapple juice
i had 3 glass... and was frankly very stuffed from all the food and juice
anita and i didnt stay too late....
we left by 8 while the others stayed till pass 9
