Oh no the final day has arrived...
apart from lazing around in the morning from 8 to 10am...
the rest of the day was spent traveling back =(
i went outside to the living room, ate the last bits of fruits and yogurt i bought...
took final photos of toby... and joanne's drawing was there
explains the shot...
haha.. a good resemblance of Ed...
then we did the toby spin which was really funny to watch haha...
hello lovable cute toby
it was nice teaching you how to stay.. u're so smart but naughty
i know you'd be glad to see me gone haha
cause it's always "No Toby this, and No Toby that"
No biting, no pulling towel, no pooping on wifi modem, no no no
haha but then i think i wont see u again toby...
at least i have photos of you....
it was time to go, so joanne and ed accompany sj and i down..
toby of course came too....
took some final photos at the park before we left...
poor SJ forced to wear both sunglasses cause i'm afraid it might get crushed in the bag..
i did try to hang it on my top but my top was kinda loose...
final group photo
byebye toby !
30-40 min cab ride to the beijing south train station
there was a long line for the tickets... luckily not our line
walking towards our gate..
and then waited for our train which was a 20 min wait till the boarding time
we're sad cause we're leaving...
back to the working days
was waiting for 333km/h but it only reached 331 max
arrived at tianjin...... it was raining !!!
plus the bus to the airport was outside and it would be too difficult to find =(
so we took the taxi
and OMG the taxi line was soooooooooooooooooooo long
maybe as long as 10 shophouses...
but luckily there were enough taxi around, the line was a 30-40 minute wait
this is why you should always always allocate plenty of travel time...
incase of anything, you wont miss your flight... better early than late
we arrived at the airport and checked in within time...
we still had an hour to spare after checking in
we were so afraid that they would charge us for our overweight bag
it was 7kg overweight....
and the people infront of us were checked out properly by the airasia superiors
wented to go to the next counter but that one is for group only... =S
so we thought, no choice, we opened our lugguage and stuff all the dirty clothes into our bag pack...
actually still overweight by a lot but we wanted to try our luck
(if cannot then stuff more heavy stuffs into our bagpack)
luckily they didnt mind.. my bagpack alone was 9kg, and lugguage was also overweight..
silly poker set was already 5kg plus
books added much weight as well
SJ's friend wanted 2 water bottle full from china (cause there was wang lee hom's face on it)
and then there was sj's xbox steering wheel...
but thank God, our next worry was the metal casing that carries the poker chip set
hopefully they dont detect heavy metal and decide to open our bags up.. and throw the thing away or something
what to do ? pray pray pray........
checked out the shops...
actually there werent many shops.. just this one main one
SJ carrying a panda who's carrying a baby panda
we bought drinks...
and had the snack we had previously bought...
i really like it that they dont hike up the prices even in the airports
make it affordable and makes us spend
flight was 6 hours, felt kinda long but good thing manage to sleep
it was so cold =(
we arrived earlier 45mins actually and while we were collecting our luggage,
i was worried a little because it took so long for my bag to appear when everyone else's was already out
but thank God all was good, and that this trip went smoothly
no pick pocket or loss of any belongings
didnt get cheated on products or cash
i must say that, i never thought china would be a nice place to visit
i thought only old uncle and aunties would go there
i had no interest to visit historical places but who knew it was so beautiful
i thought the place was really dirty, as i heard so many stories of toilet, people just pooping at the side of the road
but it wasnt dirty, infact i didnt spot a single garbage on the roadside or anywhere
people there are clean (except for the older generations spitting)
and upon reading joanne's book of "places to visit in china" .. i think i might return some day
(with SJ of course cause i'll die without someone who can speak and read mandarin)
[13 days - spending of RM1125 on return flight,
RM870 on general expenses (transport, food)]
