This is an anti-Man United post.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

(Extra points to the Guardian for calling it the "campions league". So what kind are Man U supposed to be? Rose campion, white campion, sea campion? I'd vote for bladder campion, but it's much too pretty to be wasted on them.)

I turned off my tv and have no idea what happened after Ribery started attacking like his life depended on it on 3-1. Did ManU manage to LOSE? XD

HOW DID THEY?! XDDDD Maaaaaaaaan, my entire twitlist was hating SO MUCH. I honestly don't care about Bayern nor ManU, but a) I love Ribery (hell yes) and b) I TOTALLY didn't want to face ManU in the final if we ever happen to pass through Barça, so W00T.
...seriously, HOW COULD THEY LOSE?! X'DDD

IAWTC. \o/

Man U scored in the 3rd, 7th and 41st minutes, leading the Guardian man to conclude that the match was wrapped up. Then Olic scored for Bayern, Man U's Rafael was sent off for pulling Ribery's shirt, Robben scored and Bayern went through 4-4 on aggregrate by the away goals rule. Isn't it pathetic?

Oooh, rose campion is pretty!

...now, not that I'm in any way pro ManU, but Bayern advancing even further? This is beginning to get unbearable, and it doesn't look like they're willing to let go of the top position in the league, either. Couldn't they have both lost?

They all seem quite pretty! I need some plants to grow between cracks and in walls this year, so I'll be looking at campions again when we've got the main beds done.

Sorry about that D: This is a weird CL; the semis will be Barcelona-Inter and Bayern-French team? Who would have predicted that?? But I have a very specific grudge against Bayern for knocking out Fiorentina, so if we both survive the semis, I solemnly swear: Inter will absolutely flatten Bayern for you. Promise.

Absolutely lovely. So you've got a real garden? (I'm just envious because I only have my tiny balcony.) What do you grow there?

Or maybe even Lyon stand a chance - Bayern have a history of underperforming against seemingly small teams. But if that fails, I'll gladly accept your offer of Inter creaming them. Can't have Mario Gomez winning anything this season, after all. Ah well, at least I'll still have the joy of knowing that he's lost all his goalscoring magic when he left us.

Pretty big gardens, a back and a front! I'm disabled, though, and my mum's a pensioner, so the work gets done very very slowly. We were doing some transplanting and pruning today, and then both collapsed in exhaustion int he afternoon and did nothing but look at football pictures for the rest of the day... There's not much in so far, but I particularly like kniphofias.

The underdog winning seems to be the theme so far, so who knows?... A French team in the final would be astounding. But in lieu of that, I'll get Lucio to eat them. (Oh, dear. It's an awkward division of loyalties when someone leaves, isn't it? The mean bastards.)

Allow me to join you: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! So much for their "dream draw"!

How are the English press taking it? It's like the exact opposite of two years ago: instead of an all-English Semifinal, it's a "No English" semi final!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *Cackles and rubs hands*

They are endlessly repeating SAF's rant about "typical Germans". 9_9 (I LIKE that. An Italian-Spanish-German-French semifinal? That's great! It's nice to have some variety!)

I seriously couldn't believe it when I first heard it!!!

What did he say about "Typical Germans"?

It's nice to have some variety! Hear, hear! I really didn't want a repeat of last year's final =D

My mum was watching the last ten minutes of the game, and she was like, "BM are going to win if United don't score." I didn't THINK they would lose, but I really, really hoped they would. XD

His logic appears to be:
1. Bayern only won because Rafael got sent off;
2. Rafael only got sent off because the Bayern players crowded and harangued the ref;
3. This is typical German behaviour. (Yeah, not Roma behaviour or Man U behaviour at all.)

He also said Bayern were "lucky" and that the better team lost. What actually seems to have happened is that MU fell asleep in the second half.
