Master list of José Mourinho features

People who know me will no doubt be aware that I quite like Mojo. lisachonando asked to see my collection of interviews, so here is the full list.

Lasting Impression: a story about Mario Rosenstock, the bloke who provides the voice for Puppet!José, and how he met the real one. ‘Tis funny.

The Time Out interview: in which Mojo reveals that he is rubbish at DIY and that the food in the UK is horrible. OK, we knew that one.

The Sunday Times interview. Most notable for the following quote: “I was nine or 10 years old and my father was sacked on Christmas Day. He was a manager. The results had not been good - he lost a game on December 22 or 23. On Christmas Day, the telephone rang and he was sacked in the middle of our lunch.”

What More Can I Wish For At Chelsea? In which the 18-year-old José romances Mrs Mourinho in his machine.

One of Sir Bob’s columns for the Daily Mail, revealing that the car wasn’t quite as posh as José would have us believe. He also shows us the text Mojo sent him upon leaving Chelsea, which is curiously adorable.

Twin articles from the Times: one and two. (For some reason they are obsessed with the colour of his house.)

Independent interview. Football-centric, with gruesome Ronaldo praise.

A very short Mail article.

Mourinho denied he is jealous of Chelsea finally making it to the Champions League Final without him. “So what if they win the Champions League? I won it, too! So what if they win the Premier League? I won it, too! I don't accept such feelings as envy and never rejoice in other people's failings. Only weak people, only losers, have such feelings.”

Erm. Yikes.

The link for this article appears to be dead, but there was a particular snippet I thought worthy of preservation:

While Mourinho did not disclose which clubs have been making overtures at engaging his services, he did make public the fact that he has not missed everything about being out of the game.

"I don't miss the training sessions," he said. "I never liked running much, that's why I was never a player. I'm more the type to make other people do the running."

A testament to Drogba’s love for José, though admittedly they come ten a penny. Amusingly, the Mail have messed up the formatting. ¦)

Interview from when he went to Inter.

“I am not at all special. I think of myself as a great football manager, that's all,” Mourinho said. LOL.

Finally, Spesh reveals that the worst thing about his entire tenure in Chelsea was having his dog taken away. Now, that’s my kind of man.

Hope this was all of some use, Lisa. <3

football, special one
